This page is very much under construction since I want it to give out more information than just the physical side. While reading the texts you must remember the CR, none of this information can be used in-game. If you run into one of my characters, you can't know a thing about their past unless they tell it to you. So if you don't want to read spoilers then I advice you to skip the history sections. I have put them here because some of it might never be learned in-game and I feel like sharing. Past is a big thing affecting how characters turn out to be. Events described are well over four days old.
MalineDead.Personality: First of all, she's a wanderer. Although she's driven by a need to find love and friendship, even those things cannot bind her to a place. She doesn't want to hurt people, yet is ready to accept revenge as a tool of justice. Though working hard to gain earthly things, she has learned to value social and spiritual riches more. History: Putting it in a nutshell, she's been through more things than most people would in a lifetime. She was spawned in the distant side of Blaman mountains, spending her first years alone, meeting only sleepers and corpses. Two incidents have influenced her the most. First was losing her friend in the hands of a disordered man with a crossbow. After that she dedicated her life to building him a tomb. She also had a clash with an old acquaintance gone bad and ended up working for his group of rogues before escaping. Physical attributes: Her hair is brown and wavy, has grown quite long, since she never had time to cut it. It feels a bit rough to touch. The eyes are yellowish brown. She's quite short with a curvy body of that type that easily gets plump. Yet there has rarely been enough food so you mostly see her as a bony figure. She got wide hips and used to have some tits too. When I die, I want them to remember who I was On the edge of death Slowly starving, she has reduced to a mere skeleton, a horrible thing to look at.
SekoPersonality: He is mentally handicapped and also suffers from a sort of psychosis, causing visions and imaginary voices. Those things he can't understand are often scaring him. In his childlike way he's expressing his feelings openly, though sometimes there are attempts to keep things inside - boys shouldn't cry. He hasn't quite reached sexual maturity yet and is still unsure about himself, falling hopelessly in love with girls, yet being conscious of his problems and too afraid to reveal his feelings. Sometimes his frustration turns into violent behaviour but until now, he has walked away and waited for those feelings to pass before anyone gets hurt. He's mainly a gentle creature who means no harm, but doesn't know much about social code and ends up blurting out things that should be left unsaid. Concerning the ones he loves, he can be over-protective and possessive.History: Originally from Pak, he travelled across the world with his friends Caine and Chammel, on a search for wood. Chammel was lost on the way back but the two have settled in Mulof (north), building a community out of newspawns and fighting the lions. Many friends have been mauled to death by the lions and others have slept away but there's still hope. Physical attributes: His greasy brown hair hasn't been cut in ages and it has never seen a comb. Sven Tufva (Swedish)Personality: A loner, gets upset easily.History: Spawned in Sserperia, has been travelling around most of his life. Getting attacked by gorillas and hawks all the time. Now he's settled in Sserperia again, planning to bury all the corpses. There are about 60 of them so it should keep him busy for a while. Physical description: Blond with messy hair and some stubbly beard. He's got a stern expression hardened by loneliness and frustration.
Jaina Valjean (former Hunter)Personality: She's a very physical person, likes punching her friends and acting in a rough way that may make her look like a bully, but she means no harm. Just wants them to know who's the boss! She tends to act first and think afterwards, if all. Call it foolishness but she's just being spontaneous. She can be awfully generous but gets pissed off if someone steals from her.History: The adventurous girl from Quillanoi forest has gone a long way, finally finding herself as a keymaster in Kiii. She took a new name from a dead friend whom she used to have a crush on before he died. And believe it or not, he lately lost ANOTHER loved one, this guy got killed by pirates who also looted most of the town storage while Jaina and her friends were off on a resource run. She was close to giving up but now starting to rebuild the town from the ashes once more. Physical attributes: Her hair is thin, dark and smooth. She used to keep it braided on a tight pigtail to keep it out of way, exept when she's feeling down, then she couldn't care less about it, but lately she got mad with it and cut it short. Hannah RomainPersonality: Others have described her as the sweetest person on Cantr so maybe there's a seed of truth there. *blush* She has her dark side, but mostly appearing as a gentle mother figure. Though bothered by depression sometimes, she's basically optimistic and cheerful. Just tends to start worrying too much about things sometimes. She's a total freak when it comes to organizing and writing lists. Eeek! :DHistory: The only big thing affecting her life was losing her lover to the sleeping sickness. It took a long time to get over it, but now she has learned how to love again. She has spend most of her life in Plaekur Forest (east), where they moved from Seatown hills. They have build a big load of machinery and recently a bike, which nearly got stolen right in the start, exept that she happened to be on it. O_O;; Now she's sworn never to ride a bike again, and is likely never to travel again besides maybe to the Hills. Physical attributes: Olive green eyes that used to be brown in her youth, but have faded in time. They are slightly slanty, giving her an exotic appearance. Her curly hair is copper brown, but starting to turn lighter on the temples. Jonas Kooth aka nameless aka Phoenix aka PsychoDead.Personality: Originally generous and peace-loving but turned bitter wathing the darkness of the world. He directed most of his energy into working, never putting much effort into creating relationships. Gathering feelings of anxiety inside, and the void was growing, yet no one would underdan. History: Spawned in primitive village of Vrayllnuets hills (north) but moved into Xiria forest with some other people, driven by the news of luxories there (fire pits and a stone pot!). Once he made a long resource run to Sjoftich hills with his friend, Rapp Scallion, to get salt. Jonas decided to become a tailor but there has never been much market in the woods. The place turned out to be a depressing death trap. People keep dying in their sleep and travellers don't have anything to pay with. He also buried many corpses, friends and strangers alike, including victims of a massacre in his old home village, and the mysterious deaths in Xiria leaving the town empty. Eventually he got tired of living and went insane. His madness culminated in raping the village leader against whom he had felt grudge for so long. She started following him around like a sick little puppy and they murdered a man called Laif Saros in the forest. The man was already wounded by animals and starving, Jonas felt like some sort of an angel of death for him. After hurting a couple more people, one in fear of being revealed and another to get food, they returned home to Xiria forest. Jonas was planning to play a game of a sort, to drag people inside one by one and talk his way out of it. But he had only managed to drag one when a nice guy he'd had his eyes on (Jonas was bi-sexual) suddenly died, sending him into a mindless burst of rage. He dragged another man inside and shot arrows around until exhausted, then went inside to rest, but once Rapp sent him pleading notes, he stepped outside arms wide and took an arrow right into his chest. He was then dragged in a storage room and kept there for a while. But Rapp couldn't kill an old friend, no matter how sick, and Jonas was released into Katrinn's custody. The other man they had dragged in was a stranger, no one cared about him, so they started killing him slowly... and eventually he died, though out of natural cause. Jonas took his sabre and started hurting people again in his paranoid dilusions, trying to clear the way. When he finally tried to escape, was shot near to death by Rapp Scallion. He was saved by Firethorn and Hefka, and was suffering from amnesia during his recovery. But once his body turned stronger, so did the old madness. He directed his lust / hopeless love to Allie, another man's companion, who surprisingly responded to his emotions, feeling the same emptiness inside. She was slowly dying, yet forced to stay strong to support a community of newspawns and wounded travellers. Physical description: He's got unkempt moustache and light brown hair that keeps getting too long though he's trying to keep it short. He's wiry and relatively short but later has built up some muscles from hunting people.
Gahak Jordan aka Jordan the WandererPersonality: In his youth he was known as a real pain in the ass. He'd never waste a chance to speak his mind, and always finding the bad sides out of everything. Almost everything he said was encrusted with bitterness. He's stubborn as hell, but standing behind his words and beliefs can also be taken as a strenght. He's certainly honest and superficially law-abiding, but doesn't hesitate to break against the unwritten rules to piss people off. He has matured along the years and maybe gotten a bit soft around the edges.
History: He's been a drifter, gathering resources and trading for the best offer. Gotten famous for insulting people and towns left and right, always getting away with it until stepping on the toes of Tessa de LaRosa of Doryiskom, who sent him in prison for a few years. In the end he had to give up and apologise. Gahak had a girlfriend for a while (read years), she waited patiently for the whole time when he was in prison. They were planning to get married, but eventually she couldn't stand his mad fantasies and bossing around and ran away, leaving him heart-broken and bitter as hell.
Dove McGregor (former Trevol)Dead.Personality: Originally bossy but ready to step back when coming across someone with better leading qualities. Later troubled by shyness and downright fear. She has always been a very emotional person, and devoted to people and things she cares about. History: She started off with big dreams in the big city of Krif. Accompanied by a couple of friends she set off to the hills, only to offend against the hunting regulations. They ended up in prison and she was the only one to come out alive. Working for the clan Mac Gregor to compensate for her actions, she found a family and eventually stopped seeing herself as a slave, finally getting adopted by Lady Jessamin. The mother's sudden death years later was a terrible strike for Dove and the whole clan. She was also bothered by voices and other hallucinations, later added with physical symptoms. Eventually her skull was cracked to let out the demons, but she died of fever a fed days later. Still, her final days were happy ones. Physical description: Honey-coloured hair and eyes as blue as sky. She got some freckles and a snub little nose. Round face and small features give her a childish appearance. 5'3" tall and slender. Pharap JahrotPersonality: He's not lazy, just seeking for comfortableness. Easy-going, avoiding responsibility but willing to work for a better tomorrow. He likes chicks but hasn't been able to get close with any yet. Until now...History: Spawned and living in Tircqi, gained half of a hemp-processing shop after doing a successful resource run, though he still insisted on calling his partner boss or mister. He just makes everything there is to do with hemp, including smoking it in a pipe. He met the first challenge in life as his boss passed away, leaving Pharap to survive on his own. He was rather lost, just sitting inside weaving hemp cloth thought people rarely bought anything. He had a couple of apprentices, the first one vanished, another one was found dead. After years of working, actually, on his fortieth birthday... or was it thirtieth? anyway, sounds rather hobbit-like. Ahem... on his 40th birthday, he decided to go travelling, since no one would trade him metals in his home town. So he took a big wardrobe of clothes and travelled to Brunoi, where he managed to make a good deal and is now heading back home with enough iron and steel to start building a raker. And looks like his luck has truly turned for the best, since he met a nice girl on the road... Physical description: He's nearly bald now and constantly wears a wool cap if someone might be watching, exept in funerals. Yvonne Rapothraw (aka Serena Gray, though no one actually called her that)Dead.Personality: Silent and friendly but having trouble with expressing her feelings. History: Spawned in Kirinn, she travelled around every location on Nonirowk but never found a place to settle. She was always alone in her anxiety and being a pacifist, even refusing to hunt for animals, was too weird on an island where you have to kill the buffalo or the buffalo kills you, and the people are also very militaristic. Her greatest archievement in life was burying dozens of corpses in Kirinn Deep Forest. When she reached the last place unvisited on that island, she knew her journey had come to an end. She sealed her journal and went for a swim. A few days later her corpse floated to the shore. Physical description: Her hair has been gray ever since spawning, turning white near the end of her life. But her facial features were ageless and of the type that is easily forgotten.
Lewis ParsleyPersonality: Reserved, doesn't know how to be with people but that's because of his early years in loneliness. Inside he's a bit of a romantic but ends up fumbling when it comes to charming ladies.History: Spawned in the middle of nowhere, he didn't see much people in the first years of his life. Life was on the knife's edge and he learned to take what the nature is giving him. On a search for happiness and wealth, he's travelled across the land, trading here and there. He's had many crushes on women of various ages, but never gotten truly close to anyone. Physical description: He has curly blond hair that's quite tangled since he never bothers to take care of it. Added with a bushy beard, he looks like Robinson Crusoe. He's stocky but tall. Posing
NayomeDead.Personality: She gets jealous and pissed off quite easily. Mostly silent but gets loud when she's mad. She's sympathetic to others suffering, including animals... And overall very emotional, starts crying easily. History: She was spawned in Miron Hills east and the first thing she would do is dance. That caught the eye of Jacob Cougar, about the only non-sleeper in town at the time. She went inside helping him to cure hides and things like that, and only after a few days he realized she cannot see a thing! After that he's been taking care of her nonstop. They've been travelling together, went to the forest to build a boat and sailed across the lake. They got stuck in a fog and started running out of food, so they had to dock in another place than first intended to. Nayome and Jacob travelled to Hilloi to farm potatoes while their friends Emerald and Dianne stayed back to cook meat. But Dianne died mysteriously thanks to the player quitting and Emerald got attacked by vicious animals. A couple of random travellers saved her and brought her to Hilloi, but there weren't no healing foods nearby and in the end poor Em ended up getting killed by a madman. Jacob and Nayome ended up taking a hitch-hiker on board and continued to Reniov Swamp, and from there towards Siom on foot. But luckily they found a buyer for their salt before ever reaching the town. Then they went back to Flonder and separated from Arima, who went her own way building her own boat. Nayome and Jacob returned to Miron hills, but someone else had taken over their house while they were gone (another Hobbit déjà-vu) and when they dragged him outside to have some private time at last, the guy came through the door with a crowbar. Such an experience shocked Nayome deeply. Besides she hadn't been eating ever since they left Naron. Eventually she just faded off in her sleep. But in the last days she was much closer to Jacob that what they had been in years. Physical description: Slender, tall for a woman. JayPersonality: He's not blessed with much wits but knows the difference between right and wrong and wants everyone else to be fair too. He hates thieves and doesn't hesitate to give them a beating if they don't heed the warnings, but forgives people easily if they turn nice.History: Jay has lived all his life in Brunoi. Since his vocabulary is only a bit more than a dozen words, there's sometimes been some trouble with communication, but mostly he's doing fine. He befriended with the gravediggers and has been helping them around, receiving some weapons to help guarding the town. Nowadays he just farms tomatoes in case someone might need them. Physical description: Jay bigg mann! He's 6'2" tall and sturdy. Everything in him seems to be a bit too large. He has straw-blond hair that's obstinately messy, pointing into every possible direction. Eyes possess a warm shade of brown.
Marceidus "Marce" StarbornPersonality: Known to be quite prickly at first, but softened in the few last years. She has some tendency to depression.History: Her spaceship crashed in the Reniov forest. Or so she believes. Everyone else thinks she's just crazy. She travelled to the mountains, waiting for rescuers to arrive, but no one came. Slowly she has had to adjust to the new world. She fell in love with an older woman and lived for a while on Reniov Mountains, but there was trouble finding a mutual understanding. Finally she expressed her wish to take some time off, to consider things alone... this came as a total surprise to Taargn, the poor girlfriend. Cantrians tend to mate for life, but in this case maybe it wasn't meant to be? Marce didn't quite have a chance to ponder things through, as she was thrown in the middle of an attempt to catch a murderer called Mouse - only that somehow she ended up defending this murderer, who fell in love with her... and it never quite came out what she thinks about men. Maybe it's just because of bad experience in the past. She managed to talk Mouse into surrendering, but as he attempted another dash for freedom without telling her as much as goodbye, she felt like she's had enough of that game. Now she's trying to follow her original plan and FINALLY to have some time of her own. God knows what interruption she'll run into next. Physical description: She looks like a Thai girl, light brown skin and long hair which is almost black. Her body is nothing to be ashamed of, luckily, since she had to travel around naked in the beginning of her stay. Frowny face and a happy face A photo snatched off the Web, the closest thing to match my mental image. The person in the picture is in fact a 17-year-old girl from... Bangkok if I remember right. And Marce has a different-looking nose.
Bessie Rae Gardner (former Monaghan)Personality: Very childish and innocent. Sometimes acting a bit silly, or quite often actually. She's not really stupid, just immature. She started off as very talkative, getting bouts of babbling and realizing right after she'd said too much again. Nowadays she's more silent and shy, but talks a lot if excited or angry.History: She's lived all her life in Lake Village, starting off working for Aries Gainsbrough in the tailor shop to earn herself clothes. Very quickly she found herself having a crush on the town's gravedigger and main helping hand Chauncey Gardner (later known as the sheriff, more later known as the repairman). Aries did a fine job as a matchmaker and the kids started courting. Didn't take long til Bessie and Chauncey ended up happily married (and such thing is a rarity in LV where lovers seem to drop like flies). Aries was charged of conspiracy, which came as a total surprice to Bessie. (Well, she tends to think good about almost everybody, so no wonder.) When Aries fled during her trial and was chased down and killed, Bessie was so shocked and disgusted of this turn of events that she sabotauged the village smelters, gathered every single piece of smithing tools she could find and ran away, threatening to throw them down a gorge. But since she had never travelled before, she soon got tired and the chasers could persuate her into turning back. The Lake Village Tailoring Shop was later lead by Fred Oneleg and Bessie was given her position back as the head of tailoring department, though she had been asked to hand over her keys after the latest incident. At first she had a bit of trouble fitting in, but then made friends with the other workers and I dare say, even got into the heart of old Fred (merely a few years older than her but it would always feel like ages). As Fred went out of town, he left the shop totally in Bessie's care. Later they heard that he had taken over the town of Quillanoi Lakeside, and after that, that he had been killed. Yet another shock... But Bessie has adjusted to her responsibilities surprisingly well. Physical description: She's very small and delicate, has round childlike features. Blue eyes. Her hair is blonde and curly, it started out as very short but she's been trying grow it longer. It now hangs over her shoulders. :) Carried by Chauncey, challenging expressions
Ken (Kenneth) IgnathiusPersonality: The usual "act first, think next" kind of attitude that seems to be common to my characters. If he gets pissed then he might say or do something he soon after regrets. He's quite caring and sensitive for a guy, although sometimes acting like a pig, especially when it comes to girls.History: Spawned in Quillanoi forest, at first he had to take care of himself. Then he befriended a guy called Holden, they were having a bit of a hunting competition, ended up going on a resource trip to get limestone. Long roads and running out of food a couple of times got on their nerves and sometimes Ken was nagging like an old lady... But now they're good again. And certainly not gay! Or..? lol No, he's not!! Really trying to find a girlfriend. Lately he's been spending a long while back home, helping around where he can. He lately moved together with his old crush Joana, who happens to be a lesbian, but no one knows... Oops, did I say that aloud? Hehe, sorry. Physical description: Until near the age of thirty he was beardless, desperately scanning his upper lip every morning to find even a single whisker but no. Then on the road from Lake Village he found one. Then another. Now he has a full beard that's strawberry blond in colour, just like his hair, exept a bit more red. And it itches like hell, but he's not gonna shave it when it took so damn long to grow! He wears a kilt, great for displaying his hairly legs which are long and bony.
KeiranPersonality: Quite hot-tempered, some might consider him rude since he has a habit of saying his opinions loud and clear, but he's just being honest. A good boy in the heart. He also tends to think anyone over 30 is old and he stares at these people with interest.History: Was spawned in some forest but travelled to Siom when people were too lazy feeding him. He got hired by Holly Brown in Siom Steel and now lately he got on an expedition to a new land. He has also found a girlfriend, Vura, (or actually the girl found him when he killed his first spawn-and-run thief). She's a bit sleepy and doesn't talk much but gives him a nice ego boost. He joined an expedition to a new land, called Omeo after the first town they landed in. After series of weird events, Keiran ended up sailing around the island in a "loaned" boat and practicing some piracy along the way while telling himself he's just a helpful mapmaker. Physical description: His skin is chocolate brown and his hair short and frizzy, typical negrid type. He's very short and has unfortunately delicate bone structure, but working in the smithy has improved his strenght. There's like no fat in his body, just tight muscles. To be edited again later.
